Josh Jacobs (vs. Kansas City Chiefs)

After leading the league in rushing yards last season, Josh Jacobs has been pretty inconsistent in 2023. This could be due for a number of reasons, from missing training camp to an offense as a whole that couldn't get into gear, and there may not be a clear answer of which of them are causing the struggles.

After the coaching change, Jacobs put tgoether some solid weeks with 98 rushing yards and two touchdowns against the Giants to 116 rushing yards against the Jets. This past week, the Dolphins did a good job limiting his production with only 39 rushing yards on 14 carries.

This week, Jacobs should have a bounce back week as the Chiefs have struggled defending the run recently. Last week against the Eagles, they allowed three rushing touchdowns, the week prior to that the Dolphins averaged 5.6 yards per carry and the week before that the Broncos ran it 40 times for 153 rushing yards.

By establishing the run, it shortens the game and keeps Patrick Mahomes on the sideline. The Raiders should use a similar gameplan to what the Broncos did and Jacobs should see 25+ carries in this game and be well over 100 rushing yards.
