Kyren Williams (vs. Arizona Cardinals)

There is always a certain level of risk starting a player coming off injured reserve. It is tough to understand if they are going to come back and get the full workload or be eased back into the offense. Kyren Williams has been designated to return from injured reserve and is expected to play against the Arizona Cardinals, according to Adam Schefter.

If Kyren Williams does return this week, he has a great matchup and the rookie should be started wherever possible. The Cardinals are allowing over 130 rushing yards per game and have given up the third most rushing touchdowns this season at 15.

Prior to the injury, Williams was plenty great and getting a ton of work in the Rams backfield. He had 58 rushing attempts from Week 4 to Week 6 and had over 300 rushing yards. He also found the end zone three times during that stretch.

The last game Williams played was against these same Cardinals and he had 158 rushing yards and a touchdown. There is no reason that he shouldn't come close to those totals again this week.
