C.J. Stroud vs. Arizona Cardinals
Last week, I had C.J. Stroud as a quarterback I was avoiding because he was a rookie and was heading on the road against the Bengals. I expected it to be a tough matchup and thought the Bengals could force him into some turnovers.
It didn't really slow the rookie down as he would throw for 356 yards with two total touchdowns (one passing, one rushing) and one interception. He now gets an Arizona Cardinals defense at home in a game that Stroud should be very productive.
The Cardinals have allowed 15 passing touchdowns this season in 10 games and Stroud shouldn't have any issue moving the offense against this defense. In addition, the hope is that Nico Collins could return this week for the Texans, and if that is the case, it will only make Stroud a better start this week.
