5 players likely to sit out Week 18 and what it means for fantasy football

The Cleveland Browns have been one of the best teams over the past month and Joe Flacco has been one of the big reasons for it. The Browns have struggled without Deshaun Watson and the backups of P.J. Walker and Dorian Thompson-Robinson but Flacco has had three straight games with 300 or more passing yards with 11 passing touchdowns and seven interceptions.

The Browns are now locked in as the fifth seed with the Baltimore Ravens securing the AFC North and the first seed. They are not going to move from that spot and will likely be playing the winner of the AFC South.

Unlike the Ravens or the 49ers, they will not have a bye week to rest up and could use Week 18 as the time to do that. If they do, then Joe Flacco, along with Amari Cooper and David Njoku, would probably be the top candidates to be held out of their final regular season game.
