Fantasy Football: 5 players that are worth dropping before Week 8

Another veteran wide receiver that is looking to finish his career on a high note is Odell Beckham Jr. with the Baltimore Ravens. He joined the Ravens in the offseason and the hope was that he could be a top target for Lamar Jackson in a young receiver group consisting of Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman.

It has been a slow start to the year for Beckham as he has had only one game with more than four targets and one game with more than three receptions. Both were last week against the Lions when he had five receptions for 49 yards on seven targets.

The Ravens just aren't throwing enough and have too many options for Jackson with the wide receivers mentioned and Mark Andrews being the top target. It is safe to drop Odell Beckham Jr. and look elsewhere to help the wide receiver position.
