Tua Tagovailoa has been one of the better quarterbacks this season with 21 passing touchdowns and eight interceptions over 10 games with an average of almost 300 passing yards per game. However, against the Jets he might not be able to find the same success.

The Jets this season are allowing the fifth fewest passing yards per game and only 12 passing touchdowns per game. The Dolphins should plan on leaning on their run game this week as the Jets have ranked near the bottom of the league in defending the run and this could be a big week for Raheem Mostert.

Last year, Tua Tagovailoa missed both games against the Jets but back in 2021 he threw four touchdowns but had three interceptions in the games against the Jets while averaging under 240 passing yards each game. This is a week that is worth looking elsewhere at quarterback.
