Fantasy Football: 5 quarterbacks to avoid starting in Week 12
Russell Wilson (vs. Cleveland Browns)
The Denver Broncos might be one of the hottest teams in the NFL with four straight wins and Russell Wilson has been able to help them turn their season around. However, even with the success in the standings, Wilson still has not been a great quarterback for fantasy football.
The reason the Broncos have been successful is they are playing great defense and leaning on the run game, similar to what the Seattle Seahawks used to do with Wilson. This season, Wilson has had only one week where he has finished in the Top 10 among quarterbacks, which was back in Week 2.
This week, Wilson is playing a Cleveland Browns' defense that is allowing under 150 passing yards per game and tied with the Ravens for fewest touchdown passes at nine. It should be a low-scoring matchup that very well could be decided by field goals and there won't be enough opportunity for Wilson to produce as a QB1.
