Fantasy Football: 5 running backs to avoid starting in Week 12
Devin Singletary (vs. Jacksonville Jaguars)
Devin Singletary is playing some of the best football of his career over the past few weeks with 52 rushing attempts, 262 rushing yards and two touchdowns in the last two games. The Texans offense has been productive and had some balance that keeps defenses guessing.
However, this week the Texans are playing the Jacksonville Jaguars who have been really good against the run with only 87 rushing yards allowed per game. The other concern for Singletary this week is that Dameon Pierce appears to be on track to return.
Pierce has missed the past few weeks due to an ankle injury, which has opened the door for Singletary to get most of the touches. It will be interesting to see how the coaching staff splits the work moving forward and with that uncertainty, combined with the matchup, it makes sense to keep Singletary on the bench.
