Fantasy Football: 5 sleepers at running back for Week 8
By Brandon Ray
4.) Darrell Henderson
The former and current Los Angeles Ram was back in uniform for the team this season with the injury to Kyren Williams. Henderson put up 18 carries for 61 yards and one touchdown against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 7.
The Rams’ rushing attack has been a mixture of Williams, Zach Evans, and now both Henderson and Royce Freeman. Last week, Freeman posted a 12 carry for 66 yards sheet, which gave Henderson the upper hand in the carries. Henderson is familiar with Sean McVay’s offense which gives him the advantage moving forward while Williams is out.
He had double digit points in fantasy last week and will look to build off of his success. Henderson will face a Dallas Cowboys’ defense that has been up and down this season since Week 3. Every other game starting in Week 1, Dallas has given up 100+ rushing yards. As long as the Rams’ offensive line can hold their ground against the Dallas defensive line, Henderson could be in line for his second consecutive week of production.
