Fantasy Football: 5 sleepers in the Wild Card Round of NFL playoffs
Tony Pollard vs. Green Bay Packers
It was not the breakout season that many expected from Tony Pollard this season in his first year as the featured back for the Dallas Cowboys. He was very inconsistent even though he was regularly seeing 10+ touches each game.
Pollard started the year off great with three straight games with over 70 rushing yards and had two rushing touchdowns in the first game of the season. However, he would go the next six games without breaking 70 rushing yards and did not have a rushing touchdown.
This was followed up with three straight games with a touchdown before four straight weeks without finding the end zone. Pollard ended the season on a high note with 70 rushing yads and a touchdown.
The Green Bay Packers have struggled against the run this season and have allowed the fifth most rushing yards per game. If the trends continue, Pollard could be in the middle of another hot streak and the opponent certainly gives him a chance.
