Fantasy Football: 5 wide receivers to avoid starting in Week 17

4.) Davante Adams vs. Indianapolis Colts
Imagine saying that there was going to be a team, led by a rookie quarterback who would go into Arrowhead against the Kansas City Chiefs and beat them without completing a pass after the first quarter. That very thing happened on Christmas Day from the Las Vegas Raiders but it greatly affected the production of wideout Davante Adams. He would finish the game with 1 catch for 4 yards off of 6 targets.
He slowly started to bounce back when Aidan O’Connell was made the starter but then it took a massive fall last week against the Chiefs. This week, the Raiders will travel to Indianapolis to take on a Colts team that is still fighting for a playoff spot. The Colts’ defense has been up-and-down this season so it is tough to predict how they will perform against this Raiders’ offense. It is better to be safe than sorry, and Adams has not been his usual dominant self since his days back in Green Bay.
Put Adams on the bench this week.
