Miles Sanders

Last year, Miles Sanders was a pleasant surprise with over 1,200 rushing yards and 11 rushing touchdowns with the Philadelphia Eagles. He would leave in free agency and joined the Carolina Panthers where he was expected to handle a majority of the workload in Frank Reich’s new offense.

Similar to Cam Akers, Miles Sanders was being drafted as a volume-based RB2 in the same range as Akers. However, the Panthers offense has struggled to begin the season and not been able to get much going, including Sanders.

He has had only 190 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown through five games before missing Week 6 due to a shoulder injury. The hope is that a change for offensive play-calling with Thomas Brown taking over from Frank Reich can help get Sanders going down the stretch but at this point, it has not looked like a good pick.
