On Monday, Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniels confirmed that wide receiver Jaylen Waddle suffered a high ankle sprain against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 16. This now puts his availability in jeopardy for this upcoming week and fantasy football managers should begin looking for replacements.

These are five wide receivers that are likely on the waiver wire that could be good options to add to replace Jaylen Waddle in fantasy football lineups.

Rashid Shaheed

Rashid Shaheed had a big touchdown reception against the Los Angeles Rams to start Week 16 and finished the game with five receptions on a season-high nine targets for 70 yards and that one touchdown.

The Saints this week gets a Bucs defense that has allowed the ninth most points to wide receivers over the past month. Shaheed is a little bit boom-or-bust but the Saints should take a few shots down the field with him in this game and if they connect, he could have a good game.
