Courtland Sutton suffered a concussion against the New England Patriots in Week 16 and will now be in the concussion protocol. It remains to be seen if he will be available for this weekend's game against the Chargers but if he isn't then Brandon Johnson could be a player to add off the waiver wire.
Brandon Johnson was on injured reserve earlier this season but returned at the beginning of December. After Sutton's injury, Russell Wilson looked to Johnson pretty consistently and he finished the game with three receptions on five targets for 47 yards and a touchdown.
This week, the Broncos are playing a Chargers defense that looked much better against the Buffalo Bills in the first game since Brandon Staley's firing. It may not be the best matchup but number two wide receivers hav had success going against Michael Davis and Johnson could be a good dart throw this week.
