The inactives for the 1 PM game were just announced and one notable player that is active for today's game is New Orleans Saints' wide receiver Chris Olave. The former first round pick suffered a concussion last week against the Atlanta Falcons and has cleared concussion protocol for today's game against the Detroit Lions.

Olave was having an incredible game against the Falcons before the injury as he had seven receptions, and 114 receiving yards on nine targets while playing roughly only half the game. For the season, Olave has 103 targets, 63 receptions, 771 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns.

This week, he now gets a Detroit Lions secondary that has struggled recently. In the last four weeks, the Lions defense is allowing the most fantasy points to wide receivers in the entire NFL. They have given up 48 receptions, 611 receiving yards and seven receiving touchdowns.

This is the most touchdowns allowed to wide receivers and two more than the next team, the Washington Commanders.

Chris Olave has WR1 upside for fantasy football in Week 13

This week, Derek Carr should be looking to Chris Olave often as the Saints have Michael Thomas out for this game as he is on injured reserve. They also have Rashid Shaheed inactive which leaves Olave, alongside A.T. Perry and Lynn Bowden Jr. as the wide receivers.

Last week, Olave had his best game of the season and this week could be even better. It would not be surprising to see Olave finish with double digit targets in this game and get close to 10 receptions while finding the end zone at least once.

A.T. Perry is a solid sleeper this week as well but Alvin Kamara should also see a bump in receptions and targets this week.
