Fantasy Football News: What does Carson Wentz signing mean for Matthew Stafford?

On Tuesday, the Los Angeles Rams would sign free agent Carson Wentz after a lackluster performance from Brett Rypien in Week 9. The Rams are on bye this week so it makes sense for them to add someone now in case they need to be ready for Week 11 against the Seattle Seahawks.

The signing of Wentz raises questions about Matthew Stafford and when he might be ready to return. The former All-Pro suffered a thumb injury in Week 8 against the Dallas Cowboys and would miss Sunday's game against the Packers.

Stafford is one of the toughest quarterbacks in the NFL and has shown over his career that he can play through injuries. However, the Rams are 3-6 and with Stafford being 35 years old it will be interesting if he tries to play through the injuries or rest up to be fully healthy in 2024.
