Fantasy Football News: Deshaun Watson, Diontae Johnson, Jahmyr Gibbs
Jahmyr Gibbs a must-start in Week 7 for fantasy football
The Detroit Lions are one of the best teams in the NFL and this is due in large part to their offense. The Lions have an excellent run game but this week against the Baltimore Ravens it looks to be setting up to exclusively be Jahmyr Gibbs in the backfield.
The former first round pick is listed as questionable this week after two limited practices due to a hamstring injury. However, he was a full participant on Friday and is set to play this week after missing the past two games.
The same can't be said for David Montgomery who is dealing with ribs injury and has already been ruled out. In Week 3, Montgomery was inactive and Gibbs had 17 rushing attempts for 80 yards against the Atlanta Falcons.
It would not be surprising to see Gibbs get close to the same amount of rushing attempts but the potential is there for him to be more involved in the passing game as he has had four or more receptions in two of the four games this season.
Jahmyr Gibbs this week is a low-end RB1/high-end RB2 and it shouldn't be surprising if he ends up with 100 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown.
