Matthew Stafford expected to start in Week 11

The Los Angeles Rams signed free agent Carson Wentz last week but he is unlikely to start against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 11. The reason is that head coach Sean McVay expects Matthew Stafford to start this week, according to Sarah Barshop with ESPN.

This season, Matthew Stafford has been a mid-tier QB2 depending on the matchup. He has thrown for over 300 passing yards in only two games and has only one game with more than one passing touchdown.

He is unlikely to be much of a factor agaisnt the Seahawks but the return of Stafford is certainly a boost for Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua. The matchup is not great this week but Kupp is a WR2, especially in PPR leagues, and Nacua is a high-ceiling WR3.
