Fantasy football managers, and the Miami Dolphins, are already trying to manage the absence of Tyreek Hill. The All-Pro wide receiver was ruled out this morning due to an ankle injury and this looked to be setting up for a big game for Jaylen Waddle.

However, early in the first quarter Jaylen Waddle left the game due to an injury and headed to the medical tent. The former first round pick went up to catch a pass from Tua Tagovailoa and landed hard on his back.

When trainers came out, it appeared they were looking at his chest. Waddle injured his chest earlier this year during training camp and missed the final two weeks of practice but did return for Week 1 and didn't miss any of the regular season.

Fantasy football managers get good news as Jaylen Waddle returns in first quarter

The absence on the field was short-lived for Jaylen Waddle as he was able to return on the Dolphins next drive. This is great news for fantasy football managers as Waddle has a chance to put together a Top 10 performance even with a tough matchup this week against the Jets.

For most of the season, Waddle has been the second option behind Tyreek Hill but he has been able to put together productive weeks for fantasy football. On the season, Waddle has 63 receptions, 822 receiving yards and three touchdowns

However, he hasn't had a touchdown since the end of October in the game against the New England Patriots.

Without Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle has a great chance at double digit targets for the Miami Dolphins this week which he has only done twice this season. In each of those games, he has had a touchdown so that streak could end this week against the New York Jets.
