The Divisional Round is quickly approaching with the first game set for Saturday afternoon between the Houston Texans and Baltimore Ravens. The Texans had an incredible game against the Browns while the Ravens will be taking the field for the first time in the playoffs after securing a first round bye.

The question is who might be on the field for the Ravens this weekend which kicks off today's news and notes.

Dalvin Cook signed to the 53-man roster for the Baltimore Ravens

On Wednesday, the Baltimore Ravens waived running back Melvin Gordon and on Thursday reportedly filled that spot with running back Dalvin Cook. The former Pro Bowl running back was waived in the offseason by the Minnesota Vikings and signed with the New York Jets at the beginning of the season. He was released before the end of the season by the Jets and quickly signed with the Baltimore Ravens.

The season was a struggle for Cook as he had only 67 rushing attempts for 214 rushing yards and no touchdowns. He saw his average per carry drop from 4.7 with the Vikings to only 3.2 this season.

However, there is no denying the Ravens offense is much better than what the Jets showed this season. He could be worth a flyer in DFS this week but it would be risky against a Texans defense that has done a good job against the run.
