Derrick Henry looking for a Super Bowl contender in 2024

One player who has basically been the entire offense for the Tennessee Titans has been running back Derrick Henry. However, it appears he could be elsewhere next season and playing for a different team for the first time in his career.

He was a second round pick by the Titans in 2016 and led the league in carries in four of the five past seasons. He has over 9,500 rushing yards in his career and 90 rushing touchdowns.

Henry is set to be a free agent this offseason and is getting towards the end of his career. The former Pro Bowl running back wants to win a Super Bowl and he feels like the Titans might be heading in a different direction after firing head coach Mike Vrabel.

""But I just feel like they're going in a different direction. I feel like [Vrabel's firing] definitely solidified that. And that's OK. That happens. That's the nature of the business. We want something to last forever. Nothing does, especially in this business. I'll always be a Titan, even if I don't come back. At the end of the day, I want to win the Super Bowl. Wherever that is that gives me the best chance, that's what I want to do. I don't have no bad blood or feel no type of way if I'm not back. It's just what was supposed to happen. The story is already written, we're all just living it.""

Free agency hasn't been favorable to older running backs recently but Derrick Henry hasn't really shown any signs of slowing down. There would certainly be teams that fall into that Super Bowl contender that would jump at the chance to add a running back like Henry to their offense.
