The Houston Texans had questions about whether or not Tank Dell would be available in Week 13 against the Denver Broncos due to a calf injury. Fantasy football managers were happy to see Dell would be active for today's game and he was an excellent start as a potential WR1.

Unfortunately, it seems that excitement is short-lived as Dell suffered a leg injury early in the game against the Broncos and was forced to leave the game on a cart, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Tank Dell was a third round pick by the Houston Texans and has been C.J. Stroud's favorite wide receiver over the past few weeks.

In the last four games, Dell has 25 receptions, 369 receiving yards and five receiving touchdowns. This is a big bump from what he did to begin the season as his season total is 47 receptions, 709 receiving yards and seven touchdowns on 75 targets.

This is a big loss for any fantasy football managers that started Tank Dell this week in a must-win game for the Houston Texans against the Broncos. However, with Dell unlikely to return this week it should lower expectations for C.J. Stroud, who has played like a Top 10 quarterback recently.

The rookie quarterback entered this game without his starting tight end Dalton Schultz and with Dell now also out, his options are pretty limited. However, this could be an increased opportunity for wide receivers like Nico Collins and Noah Brown, who has missed the past two games due to an injury.

The Texans may also look to run it more this week and this might mean more work for Devin Singletary and Dameon Pierce, who already has a rushing touchdown in Week 13.

Hopefully, the injury for Tank Dell is not too serious and he can be back sooner or later as he has been a big part of fantasy football recently.
