Jaylen Warren (Pittsburgh Steelers)

Najee Harris likely will be the starting running back for the Pittsburgh Steelers for the remainder of the season. However, it is clear after the game on Thursday night against the Tennessee Titans that Jaylen Warren is the better running back right now.

Warren finished the game with 88 rushing yards on 11 carries and caught three passes for 25 yards. Even in a split backfield, Jaylen Warren is a flex option or a low-end RB2 depending on the matchup because of what he brings as a receiver. In seven of the eight games this season, Warren has had three or more receptions.

However, if Najee Harris suffers an injury that forces him to miss extended time then Jaylen Warren moves up into that RB1 discussion. The additional workload in that situation, combined with what he brings as a receiver, makes him a great option.
