The inactives for the early games in Week 14 are rolling in and one name that is somewhat surprisingly active is Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence who has been a starter in fantasy football recently. The Jaguars starting quarterback suffered an ankle injury on Monday night against the Cincinnati Bengals.

However, on a short week he is active for today's game and will start against the Cleveland Browns.

Trevor Lawrence is a borderline QB1 in Week 14 for fantasy football

Even with Trevor Lawrence starting, and the fact he has been playing better recently, it might be smart to keep him on the bench in fantasy football. While he is on the field, the ankle injury will definitely impact his play against the Browns.

One of the reasons that Lawrence has been a QB1 over the past three weeks has been his ability to make plays with his legs. He has four rushing touchdowns over the past three games but with the ankle injury, he won't be running as much.

On top of that, the Browns have one of the best defenses in the league with an excellent pass rush led by Myles Garrett. They are allowing the fewest passing yards per game in the NFL at only 153.4 yards and the fourth fewest passing touchdowns at only 13 on the season.

While Lawrence will be starting the game, it wouldn't be surprising to see him re-aggravate the injury and be forced to leave early. There are a number of other quarterback options that are worth starting this week over Trevor Lawrence with options like Joshua Dobbs or Gardner Minshew who have better matchups this week.
