Jonathan Mingo (Carolina Panthers)

Further down the waiver wire, if there is a wide receiver worth taking a gamble on it would be Carolina Panthers' wide receiver Jonathan Mingo. The Panthers drafted Mingo in the second round to be Bryce Young's top receiver but he hasn't shown much to this point.

However, in the first game since Frank Reich was fired, Mingo was much more productive and had career high in receptions (6) and receiving yards (69). This followed a week against the Titans where he had four receptions and 60 yards.

At this point of the season, the Carolina Panthers are definitely in full evaluation mode as they try to turn their franchise around. The Panthers coaching staff should give players like Bryce Young and Mingo a chance to show what they can do, which makes Mingo an intriguing waiver wire add.
