Fantasy Football: Week 12 Start/Sit for Thanksgiving games
Running Back
Start: Christian McCaffrey (vs. Seattle Seahawks)
For the start at running back, similar to quarterback, the option is pretty obvious in Christian McCaffrey. The 49ers running back has been one of the best running backs in fantasy football this season and after getting shut out of the end zone in Week 10 for the first time this season, he scored a touchdown in Week 11 against the Bucs.
The Seahawks have been one of the worst defenses keeping running backs out of the end zone over the past month. They have allowed seven total touchdowns to running backs, five rushing and two receiving. McCaffrey is in line for a big week and has a great chance to be the highest scoring player at his position.
Sit: Brian Robinson Jr. (vs. Dallas Cowboys)
Divisional games can certainly be weird and while the Cowboys look to be the favorites, it doesn't always go the way many expected. However, one thing that seems pretty certain is that the Commanders offense is going to struggle to run the ball against this defense.
Last week, Robinson had a big workload with Antonio Gibson inactive with 17 rushing attempts and nine targets. He would finish with over 130 yards from scrimmage but it was against a Giants defense that has been pretty average against the run. The volume is probably going to be there but unless Robinson finds the end zone, it will be a tough week for him to be productive.
