Patrick Mahomes leads quarterback fantasy football rankings for Week 9

1) Patrick Mahomes (vs. Miami)
2) Joe Burrow (vs. Buffalo)
3) Josh Allen (at Cincinnati)
4) Lamar Jackson (vs. Seattle)
5) Dak Prescott (at Philadelphia)

It was not Patrick Mahomes best performance last week against the Denver Broncos but he should bounce back this week against the Miami Dolphins. This game has the potential to be a high scoring matchup and Mahomes has a Dolphins defense that has struggled against quarterbacks.

The next two quarterbacks are Josh Allen and Joe Burrow, who will actually play each other in a high-stakes Sunday Night matchup. There may not be a quarterback playing better football right now than Burrow who has thrown eight touchdowns to only two interceptions over the past three weeks. He will be playing a Bills defense that is dealing with a number of injuries and hasn't been playing at the same level they did earlier in the season.

As for Josh Allen, he is dealing with a shoulder injury but threw for over 300 passing yards and had three total touchdowns while dealing with the injury. The Bills quarterback has typically played well in primetime and this week should be no different.
