Rookie quarterback rankings for dynasty fantasy football before Week 11

In 2022, there was only one quarterback drafted in the first round of the NFL Draft and the next player at the position wasn't drafted until the third round. This past NFL Draft was very different as three of the Top 4 picks were quarterbacks and there were five total in the first three rounds.

The rookie class at quarterback had a lot more potential and for some of those quarterbacks, they have already demonstrated they can play at a high level while others have struggled. With their rookie seasons almost 3/4 of the way done, it is worth taking a look at the ranking at this point for these quarterbacks for dynasty football.

6. Hendon Hooker (Detroit Lions)

The rankings start off with a quarterback who has yet to take a snap this season and is unlikely to see the field as a rookie. Hendon Hooker is still rehabbing from a torn ACL suffered in his final season at Tennessee and if he didn't have the injury he likely would have been drafted in the first round.

However, Hooker fell to the third round to the Detroit Lions and seemed to be in position to eventually be the starter. That might change now as Jared Goff has played great this season and there are rumors that they have discussed a contract extension to keep him in Detroit past 2024.

If that does happen, Hendon Hooker probably doesn't have much value, especially being one of the older quarterbacks in this class at 25 years old. The fact that Hooker at the earliest could be the starter is 2025 keeps him at this point in the rankings.
