It was not a good week for a lot of quarterbacks as a number left the game early due to injuries. The most serious was Kirk Cousins, who looks like he is lost for the remainder of the season due to an Achilles injury.

Cousins wasn't the only quarterback to leave his Week 8 game early as Kenny Pickett suffered a rib injury that might force him to miss the game on Thursday night against the Titans. Matthew Stafford and Tyrod Taylor also left their games with injuries but the severity is unknown presently.

On top of all the injuries, there are four teams on bye this week including Brock Purdy, Trevor Lawrence, Jared Goff, and Russell Wilson. Fortunately, there could be some options on the waiver wire to fill your fantasy football lineup.

These are the five quarterbacks who are rostered in less than 50% of leagues according to FantasyPros that could be good waiver wire targets for Week 9.
