Week 12 vs. Lions: 5 receptions, 94 yards, one touchdown

On Thanksgiving, the Green Bay Packers pulled a surprising upset over the Detroit Lions and part of the reason was the emergence of Christian Watson. He entered his second season in the NFL with high expectations and the hope he would be the new number one wide receiver for Jordan Love.

That hasn't played out that way after missing the first three games due to injury and prior to Thursday's game having a game high of only three receptions this season. However, the targets have been there as in four of the eight games this season he has had seven or more targets.

If Jordan Love can continue to develop and play like he did against the Lions, there is reason to belive in Watson over the final few weeks and is why I am cautiously buying his performance against the Lions.
