Entering the season, Justin Fields had very high expectations and was a popular sleeper at the quarterback position. Last year, Fields was a borderline QB1 due in large part to his rushing ability and the hope was with the addition of D.J. Moore he could take that next step as a passer.

The season started off rough for the Chicago Bears quarterback but in Week 4 and Week 5, he showed that Top 10 potential with over 600 passing yards and eight passing touchdowns. This was after throwing only three touchdowns and four interceptions in the first three games of the season and not surpassing 225 passing yards in any of the games.

Unfortunately, Fields would suffer a thumb injury and miss the next four games. The good news is that Justin Fields was a full participant on Wednesday and is now on track to start in Week 11 against the Detroit Lions.

Justin Fields is a Top 10 quarterback for fantasy football in Week 11

The quarterback position has had many injuries this season with Deshaun Watson being the latest as he suffered a season-ending shoulder injury. The options have been limited but for fantasy football managers who have patiently waited for Fields, they should have a Top 10 quarterback option this week against the Detroit Lions.

The Lions over the past four weeks are allowing the fourth most points to opposing quarterbacks, according to NFL Fantasy. This week's game has the potential to be a high-scoring matchup even with the improvements recently by the Bears defense as the Lions offense is still one of the best in the NFL.

Justin Fields may be asked to not only throw the ball alot but also make plays with his legs. He is a player that needs to be put into the starting lineup for fantasy football this week.
