On Sunday morning, it was reported that Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts was questionable to play. He was dealing with an illness that would put his availability in jeopardy for the game tonight against the Seattle Seahawks.

This created challenges for fantasy football managers because the Eagles and Seahawks are the final game of Week 15. If Hurts was not able to play, and Marcus Mariota was not available, then teams would be without a quarterback in the first week of the playoffs for most leagues.

Fantasy football managers get good news about Jalen Hurts for tonight's game

For anyone who took the chance on Hurts being available tonight, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport provided good news as Hurts will play tonight. Jalen Hurts has been one of the best quarterbacks in fantasy football this season and has consistently been a Top 10 quarterback almost every week.

This past week against the Dallas Cowboys was his worst game of the season but now has a good chance to bounce back against the Seahawks.

This season, the Seahawks are allowing the 12th most fantasy points to quarterbacks but have done a good job containing them on the ground. They are one of six teams to allow one or fewer rushing touchdowns to quarterbacks.

While the season stats are pretty good, over the past two weeks the Seahawks have allowed the most fantasy points to quarterbacks. They are averaging over 300 passing yards per game and the Seahawks have given up five passing touchdowns.

It could be a great matchup for Jalen Hurts but is also a boost for Hurts' targets as well and could be a great matchup for A.J. Brown, Devonta Smith and Dallas Goedert. The Seahawks have allowed the third most points to wide receiver the past two weeks as well as the fourth most to tight ends
